Last Friday night we had a very nice Valentine Dinner. There were 95 present to enjoy the dinner and entertainment. We have some very talented church members. Ted Spangenberg, Jr. was our Master of Ceremonies. He introduced Jean Bartlett who read a children’s Valentine story enjoyed by children and adults alike. Connie and Scott sang “When Love Finds You”. We enjoyed a medley of western ballads by Tommy. C.W. and Joyce performed a very funny skit – entitled “Poisoned Potato Salad” and Bro. Chris closed us out with a skit – “My love is like a bed of roses”, then on a more serious note gave a spiritual thought and prayer.
I want to thank all the ladies who decorated our tables. Each one was very unique and very beautiful. It made for just a fun night!
Our next monthly meeting will be March 10th, 2009. Make plans to be there.
